Karin Turesson returns after almost two years with a brand new track from her project Sunstroke Rain titled “Another World”. The Swedish artist reunited once again with UK-based producer Mera Bhai after the sucess of previous single “Life Is Sacred“, kickstarting a fruitful and lasting creative partnership. Her latest effort is an exhilarating blend of UK garage and house sprinkled with synthpop sensibility that truly highlights her diverse influences and builds beautifully on what Karin’s already done in the past.

“Another World” thrives on its drum and bass core, offering a dynamic soundscape that feels uplifting and playful while hiding its meanings under layers that are incredibly fun to peel back. Influenced by the likes of Daft Punk, Björk and Charli xcx, Karin delivers an energetic track that goes way beyond steady beats and talks about waking up in a world that is “suddenly changed” rather unexpectedly. It’s a thought-provoking song that centers itself on genuine emotions and reflects on how easily things can fall apart – especially when we think they will last forever.
