Watch Me Die Inside crafts a disturbing but inviting atmosphere on new track “Uneasy”

Watch Me Die Inside Infinity Fall III Article Cover

Watch Me Die Inside is a dark and atmospheric electronic project that BORROWS HEAVILY FROM the new wave and POST-PUNK scenes. Based on the island of Cyprus in the city of Lanarca, Watch Me Die Inside constructs his sonic landscape through the shadowy and mysterious atmospheres of ’80s rock. This is palpable on his latest EP Infinity Fall III, and especially on THE opening track “Uneasy”.

In just over two minutes, the artist manages to shift gears drastically, going from emo-inspired pianos to full-blown nu-metal and hip-hop dynamics. It’s an exhilarating example of the psychological torment that he writes about in the song’s lyrics. “Uneasy” snaps a disturbingly accurate account of the tension that comes with not trusting your own mind and what it’s telling you.

It’s a chilling experience that further encapsulates the artist’s desire to portray the idea that, perhaps, our gratest danger isn’t pain, but feeling comfortable. “Uneasy” goes to so many different directions it’s hard to keep up, either being on its lyrics or the sonic evolution that the production expertly captures. It’s the kid of song that makes you question your own life decisions, being somehow suddenly unsure of everything you’ve ever done.

Watch Me Die Inside Art Uneasy

Watch Me Die Inside is a fantastic project that illustrates our deepest fears with unwavering precision, often crafting atmospheres that feel just inviting enough to let your guard down. In between thoughtful melodies and striking lyrics, “Uneasy” stands as a song that won’t be easy to forget any time soon – no matter if it resonates with what you’re personally going through or not. It’s the best and most intriguing song to come from Watch Me Die Inside this far, and it leaves us terrified while also eagerly waiting to hear more.
