At the tender age of 15, he was introduced to the music of Lou Reed by a friend’s father, sparking an undeniable love for Reed’s raw and unfiltered songwriting. The moment he immersed himself in “The Blue Mask,” a whirlwind of sound erupted within him, revealing an utterly enchanting sonic universe that transformed his perception forever.
Jason had loved the velvet underground but had not heard his solo stuff. Jasons friends dad put on the vinyl, rolled up a joint and they experienced the record talking about Jasons teenage life he was 15 at the time.
