Keeka The Brave is the solo project of producer/DJ Elon Hiers. Based in Jacksonville, USA, Elon has a background of performing in the DJing/electronic scene, as well as playing drums in the live music scene. Heavily influenced by bands like Tycho, Lymbyc Systym, Boards of Canada, and Kaskade, his music might be described as dreamy, eclectic, and with a vibrant atmosphere.
“Purple” might become your favorite color after listening to this track. With a chilled landscape and reverberating guitars, this track is perfectly suited for a long-ride or an inner-experience while meditating. It has both electronic sounds as well as analog, a mix of wobbling synths with real instruments.
The production is top-notch, with an ever increasing amount of movement and detail that keeps the listener entertained and the dance-floor filled, you can tell the amount of experience this guys has just by listening to his music.
Elon makes everything at his home studio, with “Purple” later being mastered by Jonathan Berlin at Loft Studio in Los Angeles. He delivers a bright sound that wraps up the listener and invites him to just go along for the ride, maybe being exactly what he intended!
