Salt House Lavish cosmic new track “Staring Off Into Space”

Salt House Lavish, the alias of music producer and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Laverick, explores electronic soundscapes in his own way. He doesn’t follow any common paths, instead, the artist brings out the more mystical, psychedelic and transcending side of electronica. Last year, he released “Do Not Follow Them“, a song that was part of his album “Fraternise Collaborate” and introduced the readers to his cosmical vibes. Today, the artist is back with fresh sounds in his bag, and he reveals a new single!

The new release sparkles with dissonant moody soundscapes, a nocturnal sound fittingly titled “Staring Off Into Space“. Beautiful echoing female vocals feature on this cosmic-themed song, bringing in a breath of pop edm whilst feeling strangely at home in the otherwise very explorative and experimental song. The free-formed atmosphere surrounding the rather concise vocals both follow each other and also offer a lot of contrast, especially in the beginning.

Chef by profession, it’s probably not even surprising to learn Andrew created this tasteful single in his kitchen, in the middle of mics and wires. The artist has definitely got a knack on how to put together very different pieces, offering an evolving beat-driven experience that please those craving for something new and daring, and surrounding it all with the pleasantly mystical floating feeling highlighted with beautiful little arps.

Staring Off Into Space” is part of the Salt House Lavish’s new album “Take a Deep Breath People“.
