Fillianaire “Woulda Coulda Shoulda”

Should have done it differently, could have said something else instead or should have acted like that rather than how I did it. Everything would be different. Lying up a night marinating in those thoughts after a super awkward conversation with a crush, or after a breakup is something that happens to all of us. Fillianaire is no exception, he knows this feeling very well.

In fact, the LA-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has decided to take these head-filling woulds, coulds and shoulds and put them into a song, both as a measure to ease their weight in his head as well as embracing himself with all the supposed mistakes. The result is “Woulda Coulda Shoulda“, a smooth summery pop tune featuring vocals that describe all that’s going on in the head of a person sitting up at night pondering what if they’d done something differently.

“So this song is about all the times I’ve fucked up in my relationships, and how I could have maybe done better…(or maybe that’s just who I am:) I wrote, performed, produced and mixed the song 100% myself in my garage.”

The single comes with easy-going vibes contrasting the maze of feelings described by lyrics, and even lyric-wise it takes a lighter road, particularly the spoken word section and the rhythmic floating feeling that follows it. The song is full the sweet vibrant melodies, guitar melodies and changing atmospheres, and the whole package feels like an understanding friend for all those who are going through the same.

“Woulda Coulda Shoulda” is out now, and it’s also the second single off Fillianaire’s upcoming release!

Almost everything I do will be in the “Pop box”, but most of it will be on the outside corners…still catchy and melodic, but usually with an off-center, fun, quirky vibe. This is song #2 of the EP/Album I’m planning on releasing next spring
