What’s going on guys! Welcome back. It’s your cat lover, MadZen, and today we will prepare for the arrival of this metal-injected tune which stands by and for women and their emotions. Brought to us by this all-teen, high-school Punk band, this single will definitely leave a mark in your heavy music playlist.
Guys, if you don’t know Doll Riot I’m not sure what you’re doing with your life. Just kidding. But for real, these girls kick ass. After the release of their last single Get a Life, the San Diego musicians are preparing for their next track with a face melting sound and an awesome composition.
“Mrreowrr” is about the stereotyping of females for having emotions and the anger that arises as a result. A slow-burning track that flows with a wide dynamism and raw energy. Starting with a heavy-ass lead guitar riff, the track moves slowly, like a wild beast stalking its prey getting ready to obliterate. And so it does, the track quickly explodes and turns into a fast-paced beat with feral screams and nasty enthusiasm.
Lyrics are quick and to the point, making it clear that women have emotions, and they will show them without being called crazy. There’s also a brutal breakdown with spoken word verses that’s as unexpected as it is savage. Pretty well done. So, if you’re into Sabbath, Punk or Metal, these teenage girls’ music will surely be of your liking.
