Covering a classic Fairport Convention song called “Who Knows Where the Time Goes?“, Shadowbanned takes the timeless goodness with a beautiful message and gives it a shimmering, cinematic, and colorful new version.
Inviting a great silver-voiced vocalist Abby Strickland to sing for the cover, the swelling and flowing song seem to come straight to life. Emotionally charged, rich with sounds, and enhanced by beautiful little details such as the melodious guitar plucks, Shadowbanned gives the song’s eternal question an airy, sighing sheen. Where the time ends up going to, who knows. But there’s comfort in the mystery.
