The Mars McClanes – “Be Still”

This is a wonderful, chill track with a dreamy soundscape sure to send chills down your spine. “Be Still” was intended to be thought-provoking and cathartic, but it ended up being so much more.

¡OUT NOW!

What’s going on guys, welcome back! It’s your dreamer, MadZen, and today I’m very glad to announce the arrival of a brand new single that is as beautiful and charming as a Sunday morning. A soothing musical experience that will warm your very bones as you are lifted into Morpheus’ arms. Let’s get to it!

The Mars McClanes have delighted us in the past with their lunacy and exciting rhythms, but today they reveal that they can do so much more. In a display of versatility, the Portland-based band has delivered a soft and oneiric tune that showcases the band’s emotive lyrics and dreamy soundscapes.

The track is a haunting and introspective look at the struggles of finding inner peace within a fast-paced world… or maybe just two hungover people trying to get through the morning after a big night out.

“Be Still” holds a strong resemblance to some of Porcupine Tree’s mellow tracks. A mix of acoustic and electronic elements creates a weightless atmosphere in a timeless spot. Some might call it a lullaby, others a therapeutic song, either way, it’s truly a track that elevates our hopes and dreams, bringing sweet memories from the past, and positive glimpses toward the future.

So waste no more time, and ¡LISTEN NOW!
