What’s going on ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! It’s your boy, MadZen, and today I’m super excited because (you guessed it) my new single is out everywhere and I’m so very happy to finally share it with you. You know me, I like to write about my own music and “Ka Me Yo” won’t be the exception. Let’s get it!
Some of you know me, some of you don’t. I’m the guy who writes about your favorite new releases here on the blog, but I’m also a music producer myself. After almost three years of personal and artistic journey, I’ve finally end up with a sound of my own, and a production style that fits my very essence.
“Ka Me Yo” is an Organic Deep House track leaded by a gnarly synth and a deep kicking beat. Middle Eastern melodies and instruments add an exotic flavor to the mix, as we are guided through the Ka Me Yo’s journey (In Spanish, camello = camel… duh). Male and Female vocals sing back and forth in a foreign language, and the magnetic pulse of the percussions will hit you with a compelling force.
This is one of my favorite tracks that I’ve released so far and one of which I’m very proud. It is also the precursor of my upcoming EP, “El Mestizo” which will be released this February 10th. So please, give it a listen, and I hope you enjoy it!
