The new single “Celebrate The Good Times” by International trio The Hybris is a Post-Punk influenced track with a lot of groove and filled with irony. A track that comes with an ironic statement against the ignorance and immoderateness of the privileged.
What’s going on ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! It’s your boy MadZen and today is a good day because well, we’re alive and kicking. Furthermore, a brand new single by this animorph band is coming real soon, and we want you to be the first to hear it. It is a great track with dark New-Wave undertones and a cheerful electropunk garb. Let’s get it!
The Hybris is an international project created by three friends. They used to all live in Germany, playing in various Rock, Punk, and Alternative bands before they all spread all over the world. Today they live in Nice, L.A., and Cologne. Their previous single Impostor Syndrome has been a great success, amassing almost 10k plays on Spotify only, and this single promises just the same.
“Celebrate The Good Times” presents a message of irony, where the privileged dance while the rest of us weep and work our asses off. It is a vibrating tune with solid drumming, low round bass, creepy synths, and deep Post-Punk vocals that remind me of Joy Division. It is a dancing tune indeed, but with a heavy message. Nevertheless, the crunchy guitars deliver a soft and balanced sprint of joy.
The track is garnished with somber and eerie pads, adding a lot of depth to the music, and it all ends up in a wonderful blend of delightful sounds. Wannabe comic superheroes, Ringo Rabbit, Beanie Bison, and Malcolm Mandrill, continue their mission to save the world and this single brings the fight to the ignorant elite. So,
