Salt House Lavish brings out groovy basslines in new single “Don’t Lie To Me”

April 1st will see the release of a brand new single coming from Salt House Lavish, and it’s a funky electronic tune called “Don’t Lie To Me”.

Fresh, bouncy, and full of good energy, the new song is set to inject a youthful surge of happiness in any pair of feet. The distinctly funky bassline is joined by shimmery smooth synths, percussion that inspires to throw some shapes on the dancefloor, and vocals reminiscent of those seemingly endless busy summer nights. It’s a song determined to build up a great atmosphere wherever you are, and its laidback mood and dancy heart make for an excellent party starter.

The carrying bassline was the first part of the song to take shape as Salt House Lavish aka multi-instrumentalist and producer Andrew Laverick had fun with his arpeggiator. It felt so inspiring that the rest of the song followed in less than an hour, once he found the perfect vocals to go with the bass. “Don’t Lie To Me” was born as a blast of inspiration and that feeling has translated into a great song to get down to and forget all the problems for a while.

Speaking of inspirations, Salt House Lavish finds his inspirations from all over the place, ranging from perfect classic pieces of music like Bach to forward-thinking multi-dimensional producers such as Amon Tobin. The music of SHL combines all that’s catchy, unique, and interesting to make his own blend of electronica, which incorporates both sampled music and live instruments.
