The Margaret Hooligans always have their finger on the pulse of what really matters in music….donuts.
What’s going on ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! It’s your boy MadZen and today we have a pretty funny track brought to us by the infamous Rock & Roll couple, Meg and Mr. Strontium. A track with a unique essence, thanks to its very unique theme… Let’s get to it!
Raising the question, “What kind of donut are you?”, Meg and Mr. Strontium participate in a very heated call and response, debating on whether they have cream inside, or plain old-school with just sugar on top. This was made as an anthem for the delicious treat, which Meg laments she can no longer eat due to her Gluten intolerance.
Heavy ukulele riffs, and, as always, a pristine drum performance, carry away this track with stops and go’s here and there that add life and dynamic to the table. Plain ol’ rock and roll with a comedic twist, and it does leave us wondering… what kind of donut am I?
