Southend-on-Sea natives Dave Batchelor, Dale Holt-Mead, Fin Cunningham, and Tom Cunningham have nourished us time and time again with every single release. Their tracks are always between the provocative and intimate spectrum. This time, they deliver a much more personal insight into lead singer, Tom Cunningham, thoughts.

The Trusted are aware that we live in a time where war and collapse are just in the blink of an eye, but in “Doomsday” the end is a more personal Armageddon. In Tom’s words: “We all have our own, in-built doomsday clocks, and sometimes, our minds can reach a breaking point.” And you can tell the amount of distress behind Tom’s voice, putting every bit of his inner war into the vocals.
The track irradiates a powerfully magnetic presence, probably thanks to the grittiness embedded in every instrument. Guitars, drums, bass, and even the vocals. This shows the talented skills of producer/ sound engineer Rees Broomfield of SS2 Studios, who recorded, produced, and mixed the entire track.
