What’s goin’ on ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! It’s ya boy MadZen and today we have a trippy release from this Boston music duo. These veterans still have a lot to say, and their new single “Eustace” proves it. A psychedelic rock experience with a vintage twist.
Dream of a Man In A Top Hat was created by Lee Leffler and Michael Frackleton, both former members of Boston 80’s Post-Punk band, Native Tongue. Their music has been described as cool, groovy, swaggering, experimental, wild, infectious, seductive, chaotic… and unique.
“Eustace” brings on classic vibes with soulful trumpets and trippy landscapes. Warbling synths, laid-back drums, beefy bass, and crisp guitar strumming with a 60’s vibe, set the foundation for the eccentric instrumental. An intro of slap-back & harmonized vocals sets the mood for the road ahead.
Such a unique vibe and an experimental spirit can only be found in honest and unafraid compositions. The ask-and-response vocals take us to a mind-boggling dimension, while the fuzzy guitar riffs delight us with their chilled vibe and uplifting melodies.
