While it’s topically hitting a similar vein as her previous, post-argument despair song “In The Rain“, “On Your Mind” is a song about longing for an open connection with someone that you really care about, but who has shut themselves off.

“What is on your mind?” Edie asks in the vibrant guitar-driven song reflecting the intent and desire to break the silence. Running in the blend of alt-rock flavored pop, Edie’s vocals stand strong and impactful as she expresses what’s boiling within as a person who tries so hard but fails to get through to a loved one. The feeling of being so close yet worlds apart is toning the whole song in a shade of sadness, but it’s mixed with the driving force of determination to keep trying.
“On Your Mind” is the 6th single coming from the singer. At just 14 years old, Edie has a true pop singer flame burning within and has shown solid variety in her sound with previous releases. Inspiration flows from Edie’s private life, and the stories gain the highly poetic and honest flavor in songs that know they will hit with relevance and that intimate yet stage-quality pop sound.
Edie keeps herself busy regularly writing music with a pair of emerging producers Nicky Swedin and Cormac Liotta, and there’s already an upcoming release to follow this one!
