RUIZ! has been releasing singles since 2020 when the pandemic hit, and this new single is his 10th release up to date! Together with the British label Only Fruit Recordings, the Sheffield-based artist is now ready to continue where he left up, and no less than with a super fun Psychedelic Rock track.

“Stupid Old Git” has been described as Iberian Psych by Sheffield’s Reverend Jon McClure, and no wonder. Its exotic melodies perfectly combine with the laid-back 60’s / 70’s Rock vibe. It’s a warm track full of nostalgia and a portal to the past. With a refined taste, the Catalan musician creates a welcoming soundtrack for any new fan with unsuspecting ears.
Ruiz’s collection of songs seamlessly transcends across 60’s rock’n’roll, electronica, punk, pop, psychedelia and dark rock, with each genre being effortlessly fused with Ruiz!’s take on life in modern times.

Inspired by artists like Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl’s “The Ghost of a Saber-Toothed Tiger”, he concealed a wonderful vision of elegant sounds, adding a modern quality to them.
