After releasing his last album Dystopian Days, Eddie Cohn is now back with lots of new music for this 2024. The American songwriter now aims to a more Grunge oriented vibe, with big choruses, hard hitting drums and driving guitars.
This first single is a powerful yet mellow song that resembles the charming essence of bands like Genesis and Phil Collins. It’s about the deep questions we ask ourselves after living for a determined period of time: Can we change or are we innately stuck as being the same person for the rest of
our lives?

The song is Eddie’s intention to reconnect with his favorite genre of music, the 90’s Grunge era. He created a contemporary spin on grunge, inspired by bands like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Alice In Chains. The result is an inspiring track that resonates within our psyche and delivers memorable hooks that stay around all day.

“This past year was a big year for me in terms of looking inward and trying to fine tune the way I live my life. I had a pretty big birthday and when you hit these markers in life, at least for me, it certainly causes me to turn inward and reflect on where I’ve been and where I want to go. I think about the people in my life or the habits I’ve created and I wondered which ones were good for my mind and which ones could maybe be eliminated.”
