The Nasty had a great run last year, with lots of great tracks as well as a lot of plays. Today the mischievous musicians are back again, ready to wreak chaos and deliver some of the most flammable tunes out there.

“Crowland” is about a fictional place that is uncomfortably close to reality. As the Nasty mind puts it: Crowland is a place where the clocks drift backwards, where there are only two channels of television with patriotic music and old Shakespeare classics. Everything is so, so carefully managed and all the wet dreams of the geriatric ruling classes have come to fruition.

There’s a haunting feeling to it, maybe because of the eerie frequencies of the simple one line synths. In two words, musical violence, as every string of Pete Brock’s guitar is tuned to RAGE.
