After their previous single Digitize took us all by surprise, for it was a huge departure from Dranow’s and Zoupa’s usual songwriting style, the Americans are back with yet another tune that offers a vibrant and explosive energy.
“Bedroom Mentor” is a seamless merge of classic rock roots with a contemporary edge. A musical bomb waiting to explode as soon as you hit ignition. Powerful riffs inspired by the 00’s Metalcore/Alt Metal scene, fused together with raw vocals and heartfelt lyrics that make it hard to believe that this song was written by the same man who wrote “Golden Child”.
The track presents a futuristic style of metal music while keeping alive the essence of what came before. Inspired also by legends like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Metallica, this new style of music blends blues rock, alternate rock, hard rock, and metal.
