Dr Dawsound is back with a brand-new offering of particularly electrifying music – a single called “Electric Heartbeat” releasing this Friday on February 16th. This time, the French producer invites the listeners into the world where reality and illusion become a blend, along with what’s human and what’s cyber. In this exciting mess, however, the romance that builds up is entirely real.
Following the previous successful release of “Stellar Pulse“, the Marseille-based producer Dr Dawsound keeps exploring the fuzzy feelings of romance driven by life-sustaining beat. Warm droning synth notes and wholly linear beat keep the love-infused cyber-reality going in its future pop influenced soundscapes. A particularly strong dose of warmth and summery feelings come from layered female pop vocals filled to the brim with ecstatic feelings. In this cyber-reality, love is thriving and wants people to come have a part of this uplifting thrill only fresh romance can bring.
Modern with a touch of vintage is a great line to shortly describe what “Electric Heartbeat” sounds like. Loosely inspired by Dua Lipa’s “Physical” and built up to be a synthpop-futurepop blend with electro at its powerhouse, the new single does an excellent job at getting people dance and momentarily get lost in the intoxicating realm where reality and bright cyber ideals get weaved into one.
