This tale of painful love comes in the form of a gentle ballad. Frank’s signature evocative sound meets the soft-centered, warm guitar chords that echo along with the longing vocals. While it’s one of the shorter tunes to come from Frank’s pen, it hits just as firmly with lyrics that do make you think of everything this love entails, and the melodies that suggest a myriad of feelings no longer piled behind the word “love”. Much of it comes from the heavy heart of a loving man gazing at a person so beautiful, but also equally painful, and it translates into the hidden weight and melancholy embedded in the song’s melodies.

Along with splendid production, his music is for the soul. “Kiss” is perfect for the weary lovestruck souls among us that want to taste the lips, but fear the hurtful thorns embedded in the lover’s soul.
