The Neuromaniacs are back with a second single just three months after their debut Revelations. Leaving the darker textures behind, this new release is much more soothing and psychedelic. A track inspired by the idea that circles make up a large part of life and our universe and everywhere we look there are remnants to the beginning of time and the creation of the galaxies.
“Remnants” is an instrumental track made up by drums, bass, guitars, and synths. Analog sounding and carefully mixed, the single has some modern Pink Floyd vibes to it. 7 minutes long, it captures that odd feeling of being lost in space, minuscule to everything that surrounds us.
“I started working on this track during the Revelations sessions. My initial idea for this release was to include a second track that I had developed previously and make it a double release. I was approached by the lead singer of another band, all shall be revealed at a later date, and he expressed an interest in writing lyrics for this third track and laying down a lead vocal.” – Johnny Brewer / The Neuromaniacs
Held back by the lead singer’s busy schedule, as well as his availability to track the vocals, Johnny decided to hold off and release the track as a stand alone single. He also produced the video for the song, reflecting his thoughts of infinity and the amazing beauty that creation offers.
