Formerly known as the leader of Johnny & The Brewsers (Lounge Lizard Licks), this musician / producer is trying out new things. Johnny Brewer created The Neuromaniacs to fulfill his desire of leading a project where he was responsible for all the aspects of its production. The result is a blend between Electronica and Rock with a Sci-Fi touch, at least on this first single.
“While in college, I did a lot of project work around electronic music and having never had any experience in creating it I fully embraced it and totally enjoyed every aspect of it. This inspired me to make this project an Electronic/ Rock styled song.”

The track was inspired by what appears to be the very own history of mankind, as it focuses on a divine being that has created so many galaxies and planets, that it doesn’t get a chance to check in on all of them very often. The being stumbles across a long forgotten creation and is horrified at what it sees and how its creation has been destroyed by greed, corruption and cult like followings built up around the beings existence where atrocities were carried out in it’s name.
Acting as a one-man army, Johnny oversaw the writing, recording, production, mixing and mastering of the entire song, which resulted in a very futuristic-styled instrumentation, with every instrument played by Johnny himself.
“It was an interesting journey of discovery in relation to learning how to play new instruments and work with new sounds as well as carrying the entire project. I was working in isolation so if I discuss the arguments that I had with myself , to the point where I nearly fired me, you’ll think I’m a little insane.“
