After a 10-year hiatus, the former frontman of Scottish Electro-pop darlings “Fridge Magnets,” is embarking on a new musical venture with an entirely new direction.
Inspired by the vibrant 00’s Indie Rock vibes, particularly of acts like Oasis, Kings of Leon, Neil Young, and Sam Fender, Steven Winton aims towards positivity and embraces an open-minded perspective as he navigates the world through his music.
His brand-new single “Outlaws”, delivers a confident and polished sound. It is a creative, fresh, and familiar song that embraces the listener with open arms, showcasing heartfelt vocals, as well as carefully executed instruments played by Winton himself.
Almost four minutes in duration, “Outlaws” instills a passionate sensation in our hearts as we prepare for the daily grind.
As the lead vocalist of the Electro Pop band “Fridge Magnets” from 2010 to 2014, Steven performed at various festivals across the U.K., including T in the Park, Rockness, and Lovebox.
During these events, he had the opportunity to share the stage with renowned acts such as Calvin Harris, Fatboy Slim, and Basement Jaxx, among others. Now, the singer is again making great use of his talent for vocal melodies.
Written during his time in Paris, Winton felt the need to break away from the hustle and bustle and return to his roots in Scotland for a reality check, as well as a generous serving of joy. And joy is exactly what he has brought!
