GIDE is a producer from Vantaa, Finland who felt a connection to the music style of electronic superstars like Miss Monique, Yotto, Worakls and Eli&Fur. This artist is on a path to blend all these different influences with his own and create music that inspires.
“Need It” is the culmination of everything GIDE has learned over the past year. Using software like Reaper, Vital, and Baby Audio, the producer is learning how to refine the sound using a minimalist approach.
“My musical process revolves between experimentation and simplicity, every now and then after an ambitious release I get the feeling that I’m just trying too hard and that I should do my best to keep things simple and straightforward.”
As a producer myself I can definitely relate to GIDE’s feelings, and it is always a good measure as you’re creating to take a step back and let things flow naturally.
Speaking of flow, “Need It” is a pure and simple Melodic Techno production that moves seamlessly from start to end. Captivating and groovy, the track will definitely make your body move.
Using Vital as the main synth for the bass and melodies, at least for what I can hear, GIDE carefully selected sounds that get along nicely with each other, ending up with a well balanced audio spectrum. Meaning a solid kick-bass, and a crisp mid-high range.
With this release, the artist wishes to bring joy to anyone who listens and induce them in a powerful state of trance dancing. With his new honed skills, GIDE shows that you don’t need much to create a professional and exciting dance track.
