WhiteRoomNightmare is an impressive one-man project founded by Paul Anketell. Making a striking entrance in March 2021 with his critically acclaimed album The Way Of All Things?, Anketell firmly establishes himself by delivering addictive riffs and captivating melodic atmospheres reminiscent of 80’s Heavy Metal and Prog Rock.
His newest single, “Post-Life,” boldly serves as the second release from his highly anticipated third album, seamlessly continuing the gripping narrative of an astronaut navigating the vast unknown of space. Is reality truly different from what we’ve been told?” In a dream-like state, he navigates the endless space, armed only with questions swirling in his mind.
Musically, there’s an undeniable resemblance to 80’s Heavy Metal, with iconic bands like Iron Maiden as the benchmark. The song showcases intricate and melodic guitar riffs, pulsating and powerful drumming, and soaring high-pitched vocals that define its essence.
