“I wrote Little Big House on my world busking tour named ‘The Great Big Busk’, which was a 2-year trip busking, hitch-hiking, and couch surfing around the world. I made it from London to Auckland, New Zealand like this. Little Big House was written in Cleveland, near Brisbane in Australia.
Living in a shack, with a landlord who lived next door, an ex-stuntman and snake catcher! The song essentially captures my mental state at that moment in time, and how I only had one month left in Australia before my visa ran out. The next chapter that awaited was the final destination, Auckland, New Zealand. I describe the shack as a ‘little big house’.“ Heyzeus
