“‘My Muse’ was the first song I wrote when I came back to music. It wasn’t written for a chart, or to impress, or to fit a trend. It was written because I had to. Because honesty was the only way forward”, The New Citizen Kane says about finding his own spark back after a decade away from music. Another highlight of the project comes in the form of “Afterglow”, a light and meaningful take on synthpop that closes the album in grandiose style.
