“We met through 2 mutual friends – one of them being Jay Buchanan from the band Rival Sons. My wife was opening for Jay and another friend, Chris Paul Overall (another amazing musician and vocalist) in Dallas, TX. We met at that show, and all walked next door to have a drink at a bar called the Absinthe Lounge (sadly, not there anymore) – which is where the line – “Absinthe Stains running down the concrete” comes from.” Shannon Hudson
