Komaframe is a solo project that transcends conventional genre boundaries, intricately crafting instrumental soundscapes that beautifully blur the lines between cinema and sound. Drawing inspiration from the haunting atmospherics of Massive Attack and the daring experimental edge of Radiohead, this Italian artist masterfully constructs compositions that unfold like captivating film scores, weaving together rich elements of stoner, psychedelia, and alternative rock into something profoundly cinematic and hypnotic.
“Overthinking” is Komaframe’s most electronic and intense release to date. Described by the artist as “perfect for a chase scene at 200 km
per hour,” this original single ignites a thrilling tempest of synths and electric guitars that powerfully expands the horizons of the project’s distinctive sound.
The single bursts forth with a striking intensity that sets it apart from previous releases, radiating an electric, urgent energy. This track brilliantly encapsulates the frenetic spirit of its title, erupting into an unstoppable sonic onslaught that highlights Komaframe’s undeniable talent for transforming raw emotion and the depths of psychological states into breathtakingly instrumental experiences.
Each Komaframe composition is meticulously crafted as a though-provoking sonic narrative, building tension through thunderous guitar riffs, atmospheric synths, and soul-stirring keyboards that sweep listeners away through vivid scenes of yearning, anticipation, and explosive crescendos. Komaframe’s approach to instrumental music is profoundly dark and deeply immersive, conjuring soundtracks for films that only exist in the realm of imagination.
