Saturday, October 17th, marks the release of “When Love Walks In,” the stirring debut single from the Jimi Bennett Band. Imbued with the triumphant spirit and lush hooks of 80s Pop Rock, the track delivers a timeless message: a single moment of love can alter the course of a life forever.
Recorded in Jimi Bennett’s home studio, “When Love Walks In” balances polished melodic sensibilities with raw, authentic emotion. The intimate recording setting allowed the band the creative freedom to experiment, ensuring every chord progression and vocal dynamic resonated with personal significance.
Rooted in their shared faith in God and a belief in love’s transformative power, the band has crafted an anthem of hope, healing, and renewal—a poignant reminder that light and new beginnings are always within reach, even after life’s hardest struggles.
“Music has the power to touch hearts in ways words alone cannot. With ‘When Love Walks In,’ I wanted to remind people that love can bring hope, healing, and light into even the darkest moments. Our journey as an artists has always been about creating music that comes from the heart and means something to the listener.” – Jimi Bennet
A Powerhouse Trio of Industry Veterans
While “When Love Walks In” marks an exciting new chapter, the musicians behind the Jimi Bennett Band bring decades of international touring, chart-topping releases, and top-tier industry credentials to the project:

- John Davis (Guitar): Founder of Last Generation and For You Brother, Davis is a Berklee-trained musician and GRAMMY voting member (since 2010) endorsed by Peavey, Washburn, ADA, and DigiTech. With a catalog of over 200 songs broadcast across ten countries, his music has featured on major networks and shows including NCIS, Fox Network, and commercials for Mercedes-Benz.
- Jean Carllos Lemes Miranda (Keyboards & Piano): A self-taught prodigy and Latin GRAMMY winner, Miranda joined the legendary Brazilian rock group Oficina G3 at just twenty-one years old. He went on to record eleven albums with the group, selling over five million copies while performing in sold-out arenas globally.
