I’m not sure what I was expecting to hear after diving into the press kit of Stolen Valor, but nothing could have prepared me for the mesmerizing experience of the actual song. I was utterly blown away, instantly captivated by the irresistible groove of the bass line. It’s incredibly funky and lush, effortlessly driving the entire track with a stellar performance that left me speachless, praying that it is an actual person behind the bass and not just AI-generated.
“Stolen Valor” is a powerful collaboration between two military veterans, one of whom is also a veteran musician. Tony Frissore is a passionate producer and music lover who masterfully weaves together diverse styles from around the globe to create truly unique grooves. His musical journey began in Boston and New Orleans, where he fell in love with Funk and Jazz, and the energy of jam sessions.
This love propelled him across the ocean to Europe, where he forged invaluable connections with top DJs and club owners, igniting his artistic spirit. Today, you can feel the energy of Tony’s talent reverberate through the band Pop Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio, as he continues to share his profound passion for music with the world.
AXIOM crafted the words as a passionate testament, brimming with a rich tapestry of emotions: a fierce anger intertwined with profound sadness and deep disappointment. These cherished memories clash violently with a deteriorating present, leaving an indelible mark on veterans who hold an immense and heartfelt love for the community they once valiantly served.
