Following their dreams, an upcoming artist continues building up their career. It would be so much harder without a special someone that’s supportive and understanding, and the artist is lucky to have someone just like that. Together, they take on those dreams, and together they’re also the basis of a new single by Charlotte Hall.
Based in Chesterfield, Charlotte Hall is a British solo artist creating genre-crossing indie music. Classically trained as a soprano, her emotionally charged pure voice finds a perfect fit in any style and story she takes on. For instance, the recently released flooding indie rock song “Telepathy” stands up to bullies masked up as friends, and 80s-influenced “Plastic Heart” takes on the hurtful selfish actions of an untrue partner.
Her new single “This Love” leaves behind all heavy feelings and dives into sunny soft guitar-driven melodies. It’s an indie pop-folk song full of love and appreciation, a story of a supportive partner through the eyes of the artist and the dreams they wish to take on together. Choruses echoing love through her voice, layered guitars spinning up beautiful summery melodies and a soft beat driving forth, “This Love” is a perfect love song of two people looking forward to experiencing the world together.
