Sometimes, being stuck in a place brings out things that have previously remained under cover. For Angelina Luzi it was a lockdown that lead her to a moment of transition. This was captured in what became the newest single titled “Let It Go“. OUT NOW!!!
Arriving like a moment of freedom, “Let It Go” is an eloquent piece about letting go of everything that holds you back. Filled up with tranquil atmospheres, the song feels lightweight as if something really heavy had been lifted from the soul. Featuring rhythms and elements that remind of African music, as well as a little bit of folk and soul, the single turns itself into an embodiment of moving forward. Smoothly easing into celebration near the end, “Let It Go” underlines exactly what it feels like to leave behind the bad things. The single was most inspired by a little serene place called Lulworth Cove, where the singer spent some time camping. It’s also on the cover art.
There is some outstanding honesty displayed by the lyrics, which is something Angelina Luzi is very good at. The indie-pop artist seeks to help inspire listeners with her music, to encourage moving on and seeing the world in a different light. Previously, Angelina Luzi has released another upbeat lockdown themed “Life“, which broke the daily routine and lead her discover new magical places, as well as a sorrowful song about letting go, called “I Remain You Remain“.
