Good morning, evening, night everybody! It’s your weird friend, MadZen, and today we will go bizarre! Brought to us by this USA artist, this song is an explosive new feminist-themed single that talks about, well, having fun with an inflatable doll! Let’s get to it!
Jenn Vix embraces the strange in order to communicate her powerful, original vision.
Jenn Vix is a multi-instrumentalist, adept at bass, lead guitar, synth, programming and vocals. She has worked alongside legendary musicians such as Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie, Tin Machine, The Cure) Andy Anderson (Iggy Pop, The Cure) and John Ashton (The Psychedelic Furs). Her voice has been compared to the razor-sharp qualities of Annie Lennox (Eurhythmics), as well as the edgy spirit of Shirley Manson (Garbage).

“Mr. Strange” is her brand-new single, and it tells the adventures she has with her lover, and inflatable doll. Of course, her friends think she’s crazy, but she really loves this doll! The track comes with a tight Trap beat supported by a fat bass and gloomy synths. Vix’s vocals are deep, seductive, and harmonized.
Lyrics detail the moments Vix and Mr. Strange share, from his arrival on a cardboard box to… well, we’ll leave that to your imagination! But then again, passion and love between woman and doll isn’t that weird… is it? Whatever the answer is, this track is almost an answer to Jim Morrison’s timeless question “Where’s your will to be weird?”
You will be able to see all of these love birds’ passion in the music video!
Quick and to the point, the single captures all of Vix’s unique oddness. Mastered by Colin Leonard, at SING, who has worked with Cardi B as well as Beyonce’s new album, “Mr. Strange” also presents a clean, lush, and deep sound.
