ALL ALBUMS/EPS SUBMITTED AND

DISCOVERED VIA MUSOSOUP

1.- Just like a less angry and more jazzy Killing Joke, “QUINT” by Aggressive Soccer Moms presents an underground and experimental sound with influences from Lo-Fi Post-Punk to electronica. 9 Tracks of progressive and experimental songs that sound like no other, in a pursuit to break genre limitations. You can keep reading our review here.

2.- Brand new album “Quincy” by Kimaya Diggs. Good times make life enjoyable, but hardships are those that make people grow and become wiser. That’s a piece of advice that becomes especially apparent once you’ve had to work through troubled times yourself. In the process, you’ll most likely learn to value life and what you actually have in a different light. You can keep reading our review here.

3.- Always Becoming is the newest collaboration by Melissa Grey & David Morneau, and Robert Kirkbride! This EP combines their talent to bring us an atmospheric dream-pop sound that offers us an escape from reality. Sweet and complex at the same time, the melodies of this instrumental EP make us recall the passage of seasons and time. Always Becoming is a beautiful examination of memory through music. You can keep reading our review here.

4.-Aldís Fjóla is a musician from a remote town in Iceland who draws inspiration from 90s grunge music and occasionally has a shoegaze-like sound. She seized creative ownership of her musings in 2017 and started self-releasing songs. Despite being a versatile and gifted artist, she mystifyingly battled self-doubt in the past up until that point. On February 10th, she released “Pipedreams,”… you can keep reading our review here.

5.- Building on from his debut album, Outer Monologues in 2021, Podge Lane expands his own sound further by exploring country stylings and stories in unconventional manners. Showcasing his emphatic turn of phrase alongside quintessential country instrumentation, Lane reflects on many moments in his life with earnest growth. Listen now “Common Country Misconceptions”

6.- The newcastle based trio Big Romance follow up their South Shields FC walk-out anthem, ‘This Feeling’, with an EP that blends pop sensibilities with bullish fuzz laden choruses and lushious, shoegaze-y textures to deliver an eclectic 15-minutes of peppy pop-rock. The EP boasts a broad range of influences, seeing the anthemic, melodic heights of Afterlight contrast with the turbulent ending of the title track, High On You. Despite these polarising soundscapes the narrative of social isolation and the ever increasing push towards a world of online dating unify the tracks.

7.- In their own words “Hello, we’re a Brighton based post-punk four piece called Dead Actors and we’ve just released a 4 song EP called “A Shouting Throughout Heaven“. We have something we want to communicate to the word. We’ve sent the call out, now it’s your turn to receive it.”

8.- This collection of songs tells metaphorical stories about the journey of self-discovery, the pursuit of dreams and the power of belief. “Allegories” is a call to action, a reminder to all of us that anything is possible if we believe in ourselves. The music is designed to inspire and connect with listeners on a deeper level, reminding us that we are not alone in our struggles and our triumphs. Feralman‘s message is simple: believe in yourself, be true to yourself and follow your dreams. With “Allegories”, he has created a masterpiece that will resonate with listeners long after the last note has faded away.

9.- “Autosleeper” are a Barcelona based post-punk/shoegaze three piece who released their brand-new debut album “Ocean of Noise”, following their previous 2021 single, “Substance, Sometimes” and their 2020 EP “Only Forward”. Autosleeper are comprised of Welsh guitarist/singer Gareth Hughes, Dutch bassist Niek Leermakers and Spanish drummer Hector Aguirrebeña.

Also worth to check out the new EP by El Hula a side project by Blair Jollands titled “Hide No More“.
