Expanding the edges of what one could do with rhythm is what this German-based producer is devoted to doing. Beatdenker has already showcased his affinity for complex and intriguing polyrhythmic sound sculptures in his previous releases “Too Tall To Dance” and “Ethic Endless Fun“, and he has tirelessly forged on with his explorations to create “I Like It But I Do It”, a new album out on now.

The album, which is actually one 20-minute-long track running in a continuous flow through various stages, mirrors the busy world within us that constantly generates new thoughts and ideas, and at the same time it visualizes the potential hidden within that just needs to be made use of.
“I Like It But I Do It” comes as an array of 32 distinct atmospheres and postcontemporary beats that don’t sound like anything you’ve heard before. It’s a daring and forward-thinking exploration-driven album of endless fun, created within a week of very little sleep and equally high amount of enthusiasm. It’s lively ultra-futuristic and inviting as it’s speeding through new territories and joyfully introducing ideas that seem alien at first, but are just part of what we already have.
That essence of new-but-familiar is also what the album’s music video is based on. Beatdenker used the power of AI to create constantly shifting imagery that show a general idea in which a thousand little changes take place. It’s reactive to the beat and changes theme every time a new section comes on, taking the viewer through city scapes, desert with snakes, underwater realms, neofuturistic roads and up into skies, among other places. Bubbling and embracing the constance of change, the video offers a great perspective to what “I Like It But I Do It” is about.
