ALL ALBUMS/EPS SUBMITTED AND
DISCOVERED VIA MUSOSOUP
1.- New York artist, Feyer, bridges the gaps between his past, present, and future in his brand new EP “Bridging the Gaps”. A 5-track/3-interludes collection of tracks that present a unique sound and a wide palette of emotions. Lush synths, tender vocals, and upbeat rhythms. You can keep reading our review here.
2.- The filth and fury continues with DCxPC Volume 13! Taking pre-orders and just released last Friday 05-19-2023, this edition of the live vinyl series features The Degenerates of Punk, an upbeat, smash-mouth, “Ramones-core” punk band that spans the range of Pop Punk, Skate Punk, and Old School all in one. You can keep reading our review here.
3.- At it’s core, Cosmic Mansions is a project about transcendence. Andrei and Mike are brothers (6 years apart) and were deeply influenced by Amazonian Medicine Ceremonies to which this album is a homage. It features many traditional instruments indigenous to North and South America produced in a very clean modern style.
“Flight of The Starbird” in their own words: “is about transcending everything that would block the experience of our true nature, and we hope this album provides a glimpse into that true nature.”
4.- Stereo Glow‘s debut album “Where There Are No Words”. In their own words: “This project was an exploration- a convergence of ideas. A stage of growth. A representation of a unique era of time. Each song a surprise, even to us. We never wrote music together before. As soon as we started it felt like we unlocked the door to some universe.”
5.- Having a weird party? Norrisette‘s got you. WEIRD PARTY features her best 6 tracks, showcasing the quintessential DIY Norrisette electronic sound straight from her tiny flat in Manchester.
6.- Prepare to embark on a wildly entertaining musical journey with Suburban Bicycle Gang‘s latest album, “In The Cosmos.” This offbeat and hilariously quirky masterpiece was released on May 26th, delivering infectious melodies and comedic brilliance that defy expectations. You can read our review here.
7.- Karenin is the musical marriage of producer Holst (Black Pixels) and multi-instrumentalist Cannington Brook (Ead Wood). On their debut EP, Ornithology, they combine their disparate styles to create something unclassifiable, touching on Post Rock, Electronica, Folk, and Midwest Emo without fully landing in any one place.
8.- “Kumbaya in A Minor” by Teh End is a rebel rock with a twist. It takes on themes of megalomania, vanity, greed, oppression, hubris, and apathy, and encases them in a musical wrapper that is subtle, cohesive, and hard-hitting.
9.- Wayne Brereton‘s “The Robin’s Call” In his own words: “I Have been on a journey with this collection of songs, Gathered over the last number of years from traveling far and wide. I gained inspiration from My influences and my love for the Irish language as well as overcoming health issues. As the project began in 2019, I suffered a setback due to a congenital heart condition.
Every song has a story and every album has a story also, and I hope that this story will help people in similar situations to never give up and persevere with life and what gives you the most enjoyment, for me it was music.”
