Gold Frames is an emerging Indie quartet. It didn’t take too much time before they found themselves recording at Abbey Road Studios, as well as collaborating with producer Rees Broomfield of Youth Club at SS2 Recording Studio. “Burning Bridges” represents the band’s resilience and determination to overcome the challenges of the pandemic, and they do so with an amazing sound and hair-raising performance.
Few bands achieve to deliver such an explosive debut, and Gold Frames knocked it out of the park with a beautifully crisp and harmony-rich sound. Blasting away from the start, the song takes us on a powerful ride through the impending end of a relationship.
80s melodies, shoe-gaze textures, and gritty riffs create a unique performance, an atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and modern at the same time. The lyric video helps to accentuate that retro vibe even further, with a boombox, roller-skate dancers, and sweatbands.
With vibrating energy, the UK band managed to present themselves with a rousing attitude, screaming to the four winds: “We are here, and nothing will stop us”. So hang on tight, and listen now!
