French singer and songwriter Baaj & Baaj releases yet another powerful gem with the latest single “More ‘n More”! Relying heavily on 80s pop influences in the absolute right way, Baaj’s one-man band is back again and sharper than ever. OUT NOW!

Beautifully produced, “More ‘n More” experiments with a mellow side and lets everything about it shine as needed: from the crystal clear synths to the down-to-Earth pianos and, mostly, his own voice and vocal melodies. The way he recreates classics of pop in his own way has always been his greatest triumph, as we’ve already heard on “Sweet Earth” and “I Can’t Think” before. Also noteworthy is the depth he brings emotionally to the lyrical themes in his compositions.
On “More ‘n More”, contrary to the somewhat dark atmospheres from his previous singles, he leans on the side of the light and gives us his take on a love song. It is a “positive and upbeat song that envisions a positive future between two lovers”, but when he sings ‘you call it love, wish I’d feel, I wish I’d feel more more more‘ gives a complex twist to the narrative that’s being told. It’s an incredibly interesting way of constructing such a song, it’s so effective and well done.
Baaj & Baak continues to make music that’s completely thought through and blows you away with nuances and tweaks. His very unique style keeps getting sharper and stronger with each new release.
