What’s going on ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! Today I’m really pleased to see the return of one of my favorite Russian bands, one that has amassed lots of plays on Spotify only, thanks to their amazing last three singles. Hard-hitting drums, sharp synths, wide ambiance, and poignant lyrics, what else do you need?
For those of you who need a little refreshing, Under Delusion is a synth-rock band renowned for its unique blend of synths, guitars, and captivating vocals led by an exceptional female voice, that really adds a lot to the music, as well as a heavy dose of appealing mystery.
“Burning Under Water” is the band’s fourth single off their highly anticipated second album. A track that continues with their legacy of powerful tracks with dark overtones, seductive melodies, and hypnotizing lyrics. This single was actually inspired by a near-death experience at a depth of 30 meters in the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean, and it takes the listener to an alternate realm thanks to its cinematic elements.
Under Delusion continues to deliver top-notch, professionally sounding music, and is slowly but surely positioning itself as one of the best Synth-Rock acts of modern times. The vocals in “Burning Under Water” go deeper than in past singles, intentional or not, this fact adds a lot of authenticity to the table.
