German Punk Rock band, Coma Beach, continues to dive into the harsh reality of existence in “Another Song”. An acoustic punk track with rough lyrics and raw vocals inspired by Samuel Beckett’s play “Waiting For Godot”. Out now!

Coma Beach’s musical influences range from Sex Pistols, Ramones, Hüsker Dü, Joy Division, The Cure, The Jesus and Mary Chain to Guns N’ Roses, Therapy? and Bad Religion, with their songs frequently straddling the line between punk rock and alternative rock.
After their previous release Nothing Right, Coma Beach is now releasing the third single off their debut album “The Scapegoat’s Agony”. An album that, as mentioned above, was inspired by Irish playwright and novelist Samuel Beckett and points towards the – for the most part – painful and excruciating emotional odyssey of the unnamed antihero.
“Another Song” contemplates themes like loss, the death of dreams, lost youth, and the fleeting qualities of life itself. With an unconventional but strangely functional use of acoustic/clean guitars instead of the usual high-gained riffs of Punk, this single manages to captivate its listeners with a familiar dose of excitement and rawness.
Taking a good harsh look at the absurdities and cruelties of everyday life, the unnamed antihero resorts to sarcasm and cynicism in order to cope with what he regards as the utter meaninglessness of human existence. You will listen to this in the choruses, where the nihilistic spirit of the antihero makes itself ever so clear.
The track is only a part of the message behind Coma Beach’s debut album. A message of shock, anger, pain, and isolation, born from existentialism. Coma Beach are not your generic Punk rockers but instead, aim towards a clear-eyed artistic vision and carefully crafted songwriting. So, listen now!
