Arrows of The Sun have just delighted us with their brand new single. After releasing Sick in the Heart, the British songwriters now return with a song that feels welcoming, like a father who receives us with open arms after a long time away, having gone through a lot of perils and overcome a number of challenges.
“The Labyrinth” is a song for the weary, the broken, the resilient. A chill folk acoustic track with warm vocals and emotional lyrics. Inspired by a visit to the museum, the single achieved the ‘Top Track’ review in October’s Nightshift, Oxford’s long-running music magazine.
With tight drums, supportive bass, mellow chords, and even military-like foot stomps, the track encourages us to “sail away” and live our lives till the very end. Arrows Of The Sun has a very characteristic Indie sound, mixed with Folk elements and their very unique vocals, all of that together make the perfect recipe for a tasteful musical experience that’s both homely and hopeful.
