American musician and producer Gary Dranow, alongside Australian artist Chris Zoupa, just released “The Rhythm Fills My Soul“, their debut single as Astralix, and are already back with a brand-new track. “Lost and Found” is an EDM track that features confident and strong vocals from singer Malena, just like last time. And just like last time, they impressed us from the get-go.

On their brand-new single, Astralix continue their journey through alternative EDM and gave us another impeccably produced track. By relying on the softer side of electronics, Astralix manages to create music that feels human and focused on the storytelling. “Lost and Found” paints a beautiful landscape of synthpop sounds inspired by the early 2000s EDM; but goes the extra mile by turning things down a bit. Unlike most EDM artists that solely care about the beats and danceable factor of their songs, Astralix goes out of their way to give us lyrics that actually are here to say something.

Part of the reason why that happens is due to the fact that producer Gary Dranow has a whole side career as a hard rock and blues artist; genres in which the storytelling is their core. Gary does a wonderful job in translating those stories and telling them through the electronic lenses of EDM, creating danceable tracks that feel purposeful and fun at the same time. “Lost and Found” is a song that will make you feel good and dance to, no matter where you are – be either your local club while having a few drinks or at the comfort of your own bedroom.
