Nobody’s Wolf Child, an enigmatic artist of a fierce, truth-facing image, has just returned to bring forth another cinematic masterpiece titled “LXXVII”. Observant of humanity’s course of journey towards doom, Wolf Comanche, one of the 9 wolves running alongside the Wolf Child, is here to awaken us with a word of warning as humanity is compared to a maddened wolf hurting itself on its way to death.

“LXXVII” by Nobody’s Wolf Child takes us into the future of imminent Armageddon with the fierce horsemen now on the move to put the final coffin nails in place for humankind. And thus, the single is suitably wild and fiery as it gallops along with the horses to soundtrack the upcoming hellfire.
Danger drone bass notes, echoing chanting vocals with spellbinding capabilities, and percussion of galloping hooves, “LXXVII” is a merciless wildfire that spreads to take down everything, leaving nothing standing on its wake. The humankind may be blind for what is to come, but it definitely doesn’t mean it’s not coming to surprise us. Like an undetected meteorite, but instead of dinosaurs, it’s targeting us.

Where the new single spreads the announcement of fast-approaching gallop of devastation, the song’s B-side, a cover of Townes Van Zandt’s “Nothin” comes to view the emptiness with poignant, gloomy vocals, much like a pack of wolves investigating what’s left of the once-lively landscape now in fresh post-apocalyptic state.
This single comes in as a first new release since July last year, when Nobody’s Wolf Child presented “Human Remains“. The long silence may feel like dormant time for the listeners, but it definitely hasn’t been so for the artist – “LXXVII” is just the start for what is to come this year. There will be multiple new releases coming up soon as well as a few festival placements in Europe, and even a tour. So stay tuned. With studio releases sounding the way they do, I can’t quite imagine what the live performances will bring on, so definitely worth checking the artist out when you can!
