The obviously flirting, perhaps even overt advances. The storyteller in the song recognizes this, and is letting the person know that they are ‘Not the One’…they are happy in their current relationship.”

No Drinks for Jimmy is a band from Columbia, USA. Emerged from the vibrant musical scene in Baltimore, Maryland, with a mission to break musical boundaries and redefine the conventional, these guys put in all their energy to create passionate rock music.
“Not The One” is a track inspired by the sometimes-scary nature of human attraction. The feelings someone might have when being obsessed with someone else and not being able to be by their side! It is a tune with catchy choruses and old-school guitar vibes. Solid and authentic, this tune shines through its energy and wild lyrics!
“Musically, it started with the main guitar riff in the verses. We are first and foremost a ‘rock’ band having cut our listening teeth on the arena rock heroes of the 70s and 80s, combined with the more pop feeling hooks of the big 90s alternative and modern rock bands. We feel that is very evident on Not The One. The underlying guitar arpeggios running throughout the song are something to lean in and listen for.”
Comprised of Kurt Lobdell (Vocals), Joe Chichetti (Guitar), Dan Wilson (Bass), and Doug Wilson (Percussion) this eclectic group brings together diverse musical backgrounds, creating a sound that transcends genres and resonates with a wide audience.
Known for their highly energetic live performance, the band is already gathering a dedicated fan base. Their previous releases, ‘Find The Fourth’ (2017 EP) and full-length album ‘Verse•Chorus•Rise’ (2021), have garnered critical acclaim and established them as trailblazers in the independent rock music scene.

The four members contribute to all tracks, but have a multitude of musical taste, so when you listen to an album you may hear some traditional ballads, you may hear a song that has a punk-ish vibe, you may even hear some songs that have a country or beachy feel. We are definitely a ‘rock’ band, guitar driven, but we mix up our style enough to where we think we offer something for everyone.”
