Chandra is a relatively new artist with just a handful of singles on his catalogue, but he’s quickly captivating new audiences with his euphoric spirit, embedded in each of his tracks. After the release of his previous single Smile (No Fox Gibbon), the artist has been receiving an amazing response and support, and this new one promises to push things forward by a mile more.

“I’ll Be There” is a feel-good pop-rock track that will have you singing along, throwing your hands in the air and smiling. Funny, because it was born out of the feelings of despair and a powerless sensation after watching all the bad news on your screen: War, disease, corruption, political turmoil and environmental disasters… Yikes!
The song is a reminder that, even though we might sometimes feel small against the unnerving nature of society, we CAN make a difference with simple acts of friendship, love and kindness. Like Gandalf once wisely said: “I have found that it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folks that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love.”
Filled with an empowering energy, the single elevates our spirits and even makes us dance to its pulsating dynamic. Chandra added some quirky vocal elements that act almost as a second chorus, and it creates an almost comedic effect that does in deed make you smile. As with all of his music, Chandra has written the song based on his own hopes and fears:
“I used to despair at the fact that nothing I did would make a blind bit of difference against the swirling vortex of war, disease, corruption, political turmoil and environmental disasters. Waking up every day to a backdrop of relentless bad news, feeling helpless to do anything about it, really gets you down. But the truth is we CAN effect a change and it starts right here, at home, with how we treat one another. We can be the ones to turn this all around with simple but widespread acts of love, trust and empathy.”

The music video presents Chandra and his band in a playful environment of bright colors. A sense of brotherhood can be seen, as the four musicians pick on each other, laughing and having a good time. Joyful and child-like, the video reflects Chandra’s intention to soothe out life’s toughness with a light ambience of camaraderie and play!
