Hello, hello everybody. Welcome back to the Less Than 1000 Followers blog. It’s your boy MadZen and I hope you all had an amazing weekend and are ready to begin an amazing new week. Today we have a musician who is quickly becoming a renowned name here on the blog. Robbie Rapids and his good friend David Levene!

After releasing their first two singles Who Shot Them Down and April’s Gonna Rain, this USA duo continues to craft more nostalgic-sounding Rock and Roll bangers! Now, they return with a brand new single that is not only fun but a wonderful reminder that in fact, Rock’s not dead!

Seriously, guys, this track put a smile on my face. Whether it is because of the crazy music video, or the shredding guitar solos, “Rock Ain’t Dead” just made my day. It has everything I used to love about Rock back when I was a kid in the 90’s. Of course, I wasn’t around yet in the 80’s but all those references to the MTV classics made my inner child smile.

The lyrics are just genius and fun, with very passionate verses that really show appreciation for the genre. Wild guitar riffs, tight drum fills, powerful driving bass and sing-along choruses make of this single a nice little throwback to the golden era of Hard Rock. Oh, the memories!

Of course, a lot has changed since then and Rock isn’t what it used to be, but with this track, we can take a brief ride to the past and remember what made us happy. That’s what makes “Rock Ain’t Dead” a great song. So, LISTEN NOW! See ya soon guys!
