What’s going on ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! It’s a’ me, your space boy, MadZen, and today we will fuel up our spacecraft as we prepare for the launch of IATUH’s new upcoming single. A song that’s as charming as it is ominous, this track speaks about love but holds a dark secret… Let’s get to it!
Yes, my dears, our favorite unicorns are back and after the release of Cosmologic Adventuring, they now return with their third single off their upcoming new album, “Unicorns in Space”! A concept album that follows the adventures of these two intrepid unicorn astronauts as they explore the galaxy. Just like its predecessor, this single comes with an intro (or space log) which will be available on Youtube since launch day!
The track holds that unique IATUH sound, with quirky vocals, slamming drums, and tasty riffs. What’s even more interesting about it is the construction of its fantasy/sci-fi story. First, we are presented with both unicorns arriving on a new and strange purple planet, where the character “The Kid” becomes entranced by the planet’s Slug Queen. It seemed to be love at first sight, which is strange because Unicorns and Slug could never be. It almost seemed too good to be true…
After a while, the danger reveals itself, as The Kid notices the moment when the Slug Queen pours poison into his drink. He immediately snaps out of his enchantment, and knocks the golden cup out of the Queen’s… hands? Anyway, the unicorns make a run for it and make their escape!
As it is now standard for IATUH’s releases, music and video coexist in a very amusing and unique way, creating a full artistic experience that’s worth every minute. So, wait no more, and
